Artist Bio

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Gina Marie Dunn has lived in Dallas much of her life. She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans with B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Studio Arts.

After graduating, Gina started teaching children of all ages at The Dallas Museum of Art and Art Stop. Overcome with a sense of true calling, she opened her own private art studio, Utopia Pkwy Art Studio, where she has been painting independently and offering children’s art lessons since 2005. She is active in the local arts community and has Gallery representation in Scottsdale, AZ.  Her work is featured in both private and commercial galleries, publications and collections, nationally and internationally. Gina is a wife and mother of three, has fun making art every day, and believes it is never too early to instill a love of the arts in children.  She is also an active community advocate and serves on various local philanthropic committees by donating her time and talent.

Comments From Advisory Board

  • “Her love and appreciation of nature is apparent in the abstract arrangements that Dunn organizes on the picture plane. Transcendent qualities, including breath and connectedness, are implied through her subject matter of trees, flowers, and rugged landscapes. Both bright and diluted color groupings transform her canvases with pleasing color orchestration.”
